L’artista, nata a Istanbul, pone al centro della sua ricerca l’essere umano e in particolar modo le mani e il cervello.
“Il mio essere sentimentale e delicata mi ha portato ad una vita isolata e quindi a concentrare le mie energie nel pensiero. Mi sono spesso posta delle questioni esistenziali a cui ho dato risposta attraverso la creatività.
Il mio è un viaggio basato sulla lettura e sull’osservazione. Nell’ambito delle mie competenze ho acquisito spunti da varie discipline tra cui mitologia, teologia, filosofia, letteratura, scienza e arte, ovviamente non posso negare l’ispirazione che ho tratto dal cinema. Quando creo i miei lavori mi ispiro al viaggio sacro che compie l’umanità: mentre comprendo il cambiamento e la trasformazione dell’umanità attraverso i secoli, la mia mente cerca risposte e crea sintesi per semplificarmi la vita, permettendomi di rappresentare ciò che voglio trasmettere.”

The artist, born in Istanbul, places the human being and in particular the hands and the brain at the center of her research.
“My sentimental and delicate nature has led me to an isolated life and therefore to concentrate my energies in thought. I have often asked myself existential questions which I have answered through creativity.
Mine is a journey based on reading and observation. As part of my expertise I have acquired insights from various disciplines including mythology, theology, philosophy, literature, science and art, obviously I cannot deny the inspiration I have drawn from cinema. When I create my works I am inspired by the sacred journey that humanity takes: while I understand the change and transformation of humanity through the centuries, my mind searches for answers and creates syntheses to simplify my life, allowing me to represent what I want to convey .”
